Wild Water Boat Trip (Children's activities)

Join the Lee Valley Park Youth and Schools Team on our special boat trip.

Discover more about Lee Valley Regional Park's aquatic insects and mammals that roam the rivers and banks.

Back on land we'll enjoy a range of fun activities, arts and crafts and quizzes.

The event will consist of a one hour tour on the canal boat followed by one hour of activities on land. Cost: £8 per person, under 2's go free.

Travel back in time and discover life in the Lee Valley millions of years ago. Find out about extinct animals that once roamed the valley and which animals are now under threat in the Regional Park.

Is your school up for a challenge? Secondary schools (year 9 to 13 pupils) from across the region are invited to explore the Lee Valley Regional Park by testing their teamwork and navigation skills on part of our 15km orienteering course. Teams of four to six required. Map and compass provided.

The Box Moor Trust invite you to our Family Activity day on Thursday 28th October at The Box Moor Trust Old Barn.

This will include both indoor and outdoor activities based on a theme of Autumn colours - come and make leaf art, explore the colour of a woodland, feel your way and paine a hand tree.

Come and join us either from 10-12 or 2-4. We suggest a donation of £2.50 per child.

Open Day at RES

To celebrate Wind Week on Saturday June 19th RES in Egg Farm Lane, Kings Langley is having an Open Day 11am - 3pm.

No booking and no charge however, no cars either. We are close to Kings Langley station and on the 500 bus route.

There will be stalls, face painting, music, dance and drama under the turbine, a wind sculpture trail in the orchard. Fun and games for everyone.
